If you're looking for authentic Chinese food this is honestly the best place in Tally to go. Met some friends for dinner and we had the water boiled fish, wine sauce pork, szechuan duck, and broccoli and veggies. If you want to get anything PLEASE get the wine sauce pork and water boiled fish. Each dish came with a side of unlimited rice that was surprisingly not dry and well made (unlike other "Chinese" places). Customer service was wonderful, thank you waitress Ella, and we had a lovely time at the provided outdoor seating. The food came out in a very efficient and timely manner one dish at a time.

Great, more-authentic Chinese food and nice service! The Szechuan fish was memorable. I would like more vegetarian lunch specials, and the handicap ramp needs repairs.

I really hate that it has taken me so long to eat here. I had a favorite for Chinese and I guess I didn't think anything could be better. I was wrong. Now that I know how awesome it is, I will be more adventurous when ordering. Today we got the chicken with mixed vegetables and the eggplant with minced pork. UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME. These came with rice and an egg roll. Also amazing! I don't usually eat the rice but this was that "good good". Not the usual rice that is only there for a place marker. My only complaint is the egg rolls are on the small side. So just be sure to order extra. Trust me, you will want more than one. If you like eggplant, do not, and I mean do NOT miss an opportunity to try it here. My new place for Chinese. Next time I shall try the spicy options that they are famous for.

Met some friends for dinner; was our first visit to this establishment; is a gem of a place; pleasant servers; I ordered the salt and black pepper jumbo shrimp; my husband ordered the sesame chicken; we had crab rangoon and spring rolls for appetizers; we enjoyed the meal; will plan to return.

Pretty delicious spot to try. I really liked the diversity in the menu. It included things I haven't seen around Tally. I definitely will be trying more things on the menu. I do think my food was done before the time stated because even though it was packaged in trays that should maintain heat, it was pretty cool.

We arrived with another family, nine in all, around 8:45pm on a Monday night. Aside from a table of two, we had the place all to ourselves. The restaurant is a bit tired in its appearance, just the "divey" look you'd expect from a joint that can crank out some good food. We were greeted by two staff that tried to figure out where to put us. When they attempted to slide two tables together, one of the tables broke and they had to remove it from the floor. We were sat at a reasonably large 6-top table that allowed for ample seating due to there being 3 small kids in our group. Service was a bit awkward. The server was great, but it didn't seem like he really knew what was going on. We had two on the party that were allergic to gluten (not just intolerant or trying to not consume it) and he had to go back to the kitchen to find out what they could make to accommodate. He wasn't really sure what gluten was or what contained it. Odd. They were also out of a lot of food items Shumai, when I tried to order, was out. He offered me dumplings, not exactly the same thing. They were also out of spring rolls and beef tendon, the later being one of my new-found favorite dishes. Towards the end of the meal, they also ran out of unsweetened tea, trying to refill my glass with pale yellow water (seemed like 98% water, 2% the remaining tea they could find in the restaurant). We ordered a ton of food! Portions were huge. My wife got the Lamb with Cumin. It was excellent. Since they had nothing I'd tried to order, the server pointed me to the Spicy Boiled Fish. I swear, there were I like 15 fish and 13 gallons of broth that came with that order. Several of us ate from it and there was still enough to fully fill a quart sized take home container. We also ordered a Spicy Beef Hot Pot, which was delicious. Our kids ordered the Sesame Chicken and Chicken Lo Mein. Both good, but not as good as our meals. One thing I noticed, the restaurants that excel in traditional dishes serve average "Americanized" Chinese food. That's fine with me. I like both, but I'd rather each specialize in what they are good at. We'll be back. It was a really good meal for what they had in stock. .

To my knowledge this is about 3.5 stars restaurant. I am agree with the current rating for the restaurant. In compare to big city, there are many good Chinese restaurant than this restaurant. But Tallahassee is a small town and they are considered to be the top selection on this cuisine. Their specialty is Szechuan style cooking. We have order a walnut shrimp and Szechuan Style Fish. The walnut may need a bit work. It come with broccoli and beautifully decorated. The coating can improve a bit. The Szechuan style fish is the best dish of the day. Some of our party cannot take spiciness so we ask them to tone down. It turn out a good dish to enjoy since it has many type spicy spice in it to enhance it. The service is the best and courteous. We have a great waitress.
